2012 Pilates & Yoga Holidays - May 3-8th
& September 20-25th
In addition to our pure yoga holidays, we also
run Yoga & Pilates holidays in May & September at two gorgeous boutique
hotels by the sea in
the town of Denia, an hour north of Alicante.

May and September are the perfect months to be
in Spain.
The temperatures are exceptionally pleasant and there are less summer visitors
... so plenty of space to breathe and just be.

These holidays
combine
the ancient wisdom
and vitality secrets of Yoga with proficient Pilates movements.
Although both originated and developed from different philosophies, they share
one overriding benefit - both synchronize movement with the breath to strengthen
the body .
The holiday is not a fusion of the
two styles. Each day there
will be a class of yoga & one of pilates to ensure we maintain the integrity
of both disciplines and so that you clearly feel and understand the benefits
of each. Both practices
encourage good balance, strong posture, coordination and flexibility to help
realign and strengthen the body. Together, yoga and
pilates nourish and rejuventate the human body and mind, encouraging the
practitioner to feel calm and energised. Pilates sessions will be
mat based focusing on
strengthening the abdominals, lower back, whilst correcting
postural imbalances. In addition to promoting good
flexibility and strength, the yoga classes include mind quietening and stress
relieving techniques to calm the nervous system.
Each Yoga Pilates holiday will be limited to 20 guests who will be divided into two groups,
there will be a maximum of 10 students per class.

Who is this holiday suited to?
Anyone with a little Yoga or
Pilates experience plus those with a regular practice who want to develop and
expand upon what they have been taught to date. We
find that most guests come on their own so don't worry if you're thinking of
traveling solo.
Your Accommodation
We'll be using two beautiful boutique hotels for
your accommodation and classes. The
Hotel Chamarel & The Hotel
Nou Roma. Both located in the historic old town of Denia, a short walk
from each other and built in the XVIII century, so extremely similar in style . All twin & double rooms are available for
single use and all have private en-suite bathroom.
