Pilates Yoga Holiday - September 23-28 2010
In addition to our pure yoga holidays, we have
a Yoga Pilates holiday in late September 2010 at the gorgeous Hotel Chamarel by the sea in
the town of Denia, an hour north of Alicante.

more about this lovely hotel. September is a perfect time to visit Spain.
The temperatures are very pleasant, the sea is warm and the summer crowds have long
gone. Plenty of space to breath & just be. This holiday combines the ancient wisdom
and vitality secrets of Yoga with proficient Pilates movements.
Although both originated and developed from different philosophies, they share
one overriding benefit - both synchronize movement with the breath to strengthen
the body. This holiday is not a fusion of the
two styles. Each day there
will be a class of yoga & one of pilates to ensure we maintain the integrity
of both disciplines and so that you can feel & understand the clear benefits
of each. Yoga
will exercise a wide range of body areas, whereas the mat based Pilates sessions
will focus on strengthening the abdominals, lower back, whilst correcting
postural imbalances. £575.00 per person includes:
Who is this holiday suited to? Anyone with little or no Yoga or Pilates experience plus those with a regular practice who want to remind themselves of the underlying principles of each. Taught in small groups under the guidance of two excellent teachers. What else is there to do on the Holiday? In addition to two classes a day, the holiday includes guided hikes and optional energizing & relaxing activities : Biking, Tennis, Colour consultation, Aromatheraphy Workshop and Wild Water Swimming - the sea! We also have an extensive range of Therapies to pamper mind, body & soul. You decide how much or little your want to do - create the holiday of your dreams. The Teachers
Pilates will be taught by Alison Brown, a certified yoga & pilates teacher with her own studio in Sussex where she teaches & oversees the training and continued development of teachers at the centre. Alison trained with Pilates Training Solutions and continues to expand her knowledge attending regular workshops with leading experts. Her trademark style is an energizing yet relaxing practice that empowers you to discover your body from the "inside out" using muscles to build strength and alignment.
