Keeping you safe during CoVid-19

We have every intention to give you the very best retreat experience possible whilst following the latest health & safety guidelines.  Below you’ll find the measures in place at our yoga hotel together with the regulations within our region of Spain – the Valencian region – which came into effect on 20th April 2022

However, regulations may change with little warning so please check with your local government for latest advice before travel.

Prior to your arrival

  • Travellers from the UK no longer need to complete a Health Control Form to enter Spain.
  • Travellers must show EITHER:
    • proof of being fully vaccinated (with both doses of a two-dose vaccine or one dose of a one-dose vaccine) at least 14 days prior to arrival in Spain (date(s) of vaccination must be specified).

OR

  •  medical certificate showing you have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 6 months.
  • If your home country requires you to have a CoVid test before your return, we can make an appointment on your behalf at a local clinic.  However, many of our guests bring their own Government approved ‘self test’ kit with them.  Appointments at our local clinic MUST be booked before you arrive in Spain. As of 1st April 2022, an Antigen test (the same as a lateral flow test) at our local clinic with results in 20 minutes & a certificate signed by the Doctor are €40.  A same day PCR test is €150 – these are analysed by a local laboratory with results returned to you by text normally within 10 hours of your test.

Your journey to our yoga hotel

  • In Spain masks must still be worn inside public transport and health centres.  This means that you will need to wear a mask if using our airport transfer service.
  • From 20th April 2022 masks are no longer required inside public spaces however it is still recommended to try & maintain a 1.5m distance from others where possible and continue to use hand sanitiser or wash hands frequently.

On arrival at our yoga hotel

  • Before you join us we will ask you to provide us with your passport details for a speedy check in to avoid waiting at reception.  Once checked in & settled in your room you are very welcome to enjoy lunch at the hotel or take a wander into town to stretch your legs before we gather late afternoon for a welcome meeting and our first yoga class.

Cleaning & safety protocols at our yoga hotel

  • Prior to your arrival your bedroom will have been thoroughly cleaned using government approved cleaning products. Before & during your stay, there will be frequent cleaning of all high touch areas in public areas.
  • You will see hand sanitiser at various points in the hotel – please use throughout your stay & in particular, when returning to the hotel if you have been out.
  • From 20th April 2022 a mask is no longer required inside our yoga hotel.  However you are welcome to continue to wear a mask if you prefer.
  • Breakfast service. We have a buffet breakfast at our yoga hotel.  Before entering the room please wash hands or use the hand sanitiser and follow the arrows on the floor indicating the traffic flow.   If the buffet area is busy – ie. there are many guests inside – please wait a few minutes before entering to give yourself & others space.  You are welcome to take your breakfast to the outside terrace (covered) on inside the breakfast room.
  •      Smoking is not allowed inside the hotel nor within the hotel’s outside spaces – the pool & terraces

Retreat classes & activities

  • You will have your own freshly cleaned yoga mat & props.   We will not be sharing equipment with each other.  You are welcome to leave your yoga equipment in the yoga studio in between classes.  You can of course bring your own equipment too.    There will be disinfectant spray for the yoga mats in the yoga studio should you wish to ‘refresh’ your equipment at any time.
  • Please use the hand sanitiser before & after each class/activity.
  • You are not required to wear a mask inside the yoga studio.  We will practice with the door open whenever possible to ensure a free flow of air so please bring/wear something warm to every class (incl. socks) that can be removed if you get a little hot during class.
  • Our instructors will not be giving manual hands-on adjustments at this time but you will hear plenty of alignment cues & modification options.
  • Our therapists will wear a mask should you book any holistic treatments. It is not a requirement for you to wear a mask but you can if you prefer.

Travel & Cancellation Insurance

  • All guests must have comprehensive travel & cancellation insurance before joining the retreat.  Thankfully many insurance companies now include cover for CoVid related issues.  We will ask for your insurance details prior to arrival.

Our booking & cancellation policy – that you saw when completing your booking form – is here
